CD56是一种膜糖蛋白，存在于中枢神经系统（神经元和胶质细胞，但不包括脉络丛）、周围神经和骨骼肌、大多数类型的神经内分泌细胞、NK细胞、卵巢间质细胞、子宫平滑肌细胞和成骨细胞中。该抗体常用于肺小细胞癌、神经内分泌肿瘤和NK细胞淋巴瘤的诊断及研究。
